The Start of Something Great

We are officially on the road. Currently, we are exploring our home state of Michigan. We have visited some new places as well as some old favorites.

From 2,500 square feet to 250 square feet we have had some adjustments. We really don't need 10 pillows on the coach, the kids don't need 5 of the same stuffed dogs, and grocery shopping has to happen much more frequently than we are used to.

Normally the calendar this time of year would be full. Now daily, we ask ourselves, do you know what day it is ? The answer lies somewhere between no and it's really Friday again.

Some of the changes that come with Full Time RVing are not a huge change for us after living off grid for 6 years. I did not have a dishwasher, laundry has always been somewhat of an interesting chore and the resources around us not unlimited.

  1. do you have any pics of the inside and out side of your camper? what is the hardest part of living in a camper with kids? I would love to get a small rv or camper and travel with my kids.

  2. Thanks for the request. We are working on updating the blog and will add pictures of the camper. We love traveling in the RV and I would encourage everyone to try it. The hardest part so far for me is no counter tops and a small refrigerator. - Jill
