First Monday Trade Days- Canton, TX

What is First Monday Trade Days? 

Trade Days is a monthly flea market, held Thursday thru Sunday, before the first Monday of the month. It is the largest flea market in the US. It is located on a 100 acres of land.

Canton, TX. Canton is an hour from Dallas.

Adventure Highlights: 

We have been to flea markets before, but I have always been disappointed. They didn't look like the ones on the TV shows. Well, in Canton, this is where they film the TV Shows. We were not disappointed. They had everything, and I mean everything including pink bathroom sinks from the 80's, Pokemon cards (kids highlight), rocks (another favorite), new and antique items. 

The sellers, were extremely kind and we scored a couple free things at trade days.  We visited on a Friday. The crowds seemed to be smaller than they could have been. So, they took time to talk to us and were a little surprised we had brought 4 kids to Trade Days. 

We enjoyed trying some food which included hand-dipped corn dogs and a Texas Tornado made with a power tool. Red-neck cooking at it's finest. And LOTS of lemonade.
