Port Washington was my favorite stop so far on this adventure. It was a vibrant small town with a great marina! A perfect stop.
breakfast at PJ Piper Pancake House- Cedarburg, WI "best pancakes ever"
The kids and I spent the week being tourist. The Port was a central location to so many great places to visit. After our busy week the kids were ready for a break.
Our first stop was a Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan, WI. We flew aboard the Magic School Bus, visited 100 acre woods, and feel in love with all our favorite stories again as they came to life around us.

Our next stop was to Kohler's Design Center. The kids had checked and saw how everything worked on the first floor, the new kitchen and bath items. Kohler new toilet is completely hands free, minus the push of a couple buttons, including to raise the seat.
The next day we headed south to Kenosha. Today's lesson plans included dinosaurs and the Civil War. We finished up the day in Racine,WI home of kingle, a danish pastry.
Our last day we spent hanging out in the city of Port. The museum, Port Explorium was a interactive, well thought out museum on the lake. Wonderful view from the top floor of the museum overlooking the harbor.
