Leogland, Winter Haven, FL

We have been planning Legoland since we began our adventure. We went with FullTime Familes. There was 250 members there.  These are all families who travel full time, like us in RV's.

The day started out rainy and pretty cold. Yet, that did not spoil our fun. The kids all said this was the favorite park they visited in FL. The kids were a great age to visit the park. You can easily visit the whole park in one day.

Highlights:

Lego's: There are said to be more than 50 million Lego bricks at Legoland, FL.

The Rides: The World of Chima Water Ride, since it was raining it was a great day to do the water ride, as we were all ready wet. The kids had a blast squirting everyone. Project X, Derek was not quiet sure he wanted to ride this and he tried every trick in the book to get off the ride once he got in line. The look on his face after the first drop was a look of pure fear. The Dragon, a great little roller-coaster. Dylan loves the rides and his excitement is contagious.

Miniland and Stars Wars: In miniland you can see famous landmarks made out of Lego bricks. The cars move on the street, the pirate ship fires canyons, and you can see The Whitehouse. The kids and Dustin loved Star Wars!
Battle of Brickbeard Bounty: A Waterski Show. Don't miss Pirate's Cove. The fun show, everyone enjoyed it and was entertained.

Cypress Gardens: Legoland was built at the former Cypress Gardens. The part has preserved the Historic Botanical Gardens. The highlight was the Banyan Tree. It was planted in a 5 gallon bucket in 1939.  Beautiful.
