Where do we live on this adventure?

Emily Dickinson appropriately wrote "Where thou art, that is home."  Her statement summarizes our adventure.  This family of 6 lives together in a traveling home.  One day our house is next to a lake and the next in the middle of a sand hill, but it is our house in all places.
We sold, donated, and gave away the "stuff" which does not benefit our lives, and replaced it with adventure and experiences that enrich our lives.  We can look out our windows to see breathtaking mountain vistas, delicious waterfront scenes, historic places, monstrous cacti, bustling urban centers or amazing forest views.

We can change our location, our experience, our moods in a short time.  We may spend months in one location visiting with friends(new & old), or we may stay for only a day.

This lifestyle gives us the flexibility to be flexible.  To learn new things, and experience what could only be a dream.  Our children absorb the knowledge, and are growing to love learning.  They are unknowingly becoming experts of history, nature, and social policy.

When we started this adventure, we did so in a 28' toy-hauler travel trailer. Converting the large garage into a living room and baby room.  It was a effective and helped us start our journey, but we yearned for more room.  We recently upgraded our house to a 37' fifth wheel.  It is a toy hauler with three slide-outs.  After converting the toy hauler garage to a bunkhouse, we have two large bedrooms, a kitchen/dinning room, bathroom, a living room, and a loft.  It has all the amenities of a "stick and bricks" house, but can be conveniently moved to the location of our choosing.  We have more than enough space to enjoy time together, grow together as a family and experience America.

Travel is fun, we stop where we like, sometimes sooner than we think.  Managing 6 bladders can be challenging when traveling through the desert!  Sometimes traveling solo, sometimes with friends.  Every state has unique history, breathtaking vistas, different weather patterns and something new to teach us.  We can't wait to see the next.
Please send us a message and stay in touch.  We will likely be traveling through your neighborhood soon!
