Got Sand ? We do!

Have we been to the beach ? Nope. We have been at Monahans Sand Dunes State Park in West Texas. 

The sites were unique as they were right in the sand dunes, so 1/2 the site was drifted with sand. But with a little manuring the guys managed to get our 38 ft. and our friends 42 foot 5 wheels into the spots. We were able to put the back of the toy hauler down and enjoy being right in the dunes. During our stay we watched in amazement of the constant change in the dunes.

Imagine the largest sandbox ever, this was our backyard . The kids had a blast playing from sun up to past sun down. It was great exercise climbing up and down the dunes. In the morning the sand was cool,  almost cold. warming up as the day went on.  We rented sleds and boogie boards to add to our fun. 

 

We left with tons of fun memories and POUNDS of sand in the RV.
