Bryce Canyon National Park- Bryce, Utah

Description:  A must visit! Bryce Canyon National Park has a unique and magical setting. At Bryce Canyon the "hoodoos", or pillars of rocks fill the landscape.

Location: Southern Utah

Cost: $30.00 per vehicle

Adventure Highlights:

Day 1: Drive Bryce Canyon
Words or pictures can not describe or show the beauty of the park.  The park is easy to navigate. We were not prepared for the elevation of Bryce Canyon, the highest point is 9,115 feet. We visited at the end of April and it is snowing and chilly.
Our driving tour included Sunset Point, Bryce Point, Natural Bridge and Rainbow Point.

Day 2: Hike Bryce Canyon
The view from the top is amazing, but the view from the canyon floor is even more amazing. Every turn you take is a different view. We started our hike at Sunrise Point. Our plan was to hike Queen's Garden Trail. A wide path of switchbacks leads you into the canyon. Hoodoo's and the formations that line the path make the hike full of beauty and let your imagination run free. We decided to continue on the loop and hike Navajo Trail back to the top. It is a 600 feet elevation change, and proved to be challenging yet the effort was definitely worth it.  And of course hiking with friends is one of our favorite parts.
