Adventure Highlights:

We were staying at an RV park in Missoula,MT,  located about 2 1/2 hours from the national park. We debated skipping the park, but in the end it was on our bucket list and we had to see why this was often listed among friends thier favorite National Park.

Our first stop was a beautiful spot on one of the 700 lakes in the park. The lakes are crystal clear. The lake we stopped at had a rocky bottom, with many agates.

We continued our drive in the park along the Going-to-the-Sun road to Sprague Creek to see waterfall, and the beautiful surrounding mountains.

Next was at the Trail of Cedars. The massive cedar trees lined the trails. The boardwalk provided an easy walking trail. The easy these trees thrive here due to the moist Pacific air getting blocked by the Rocky Mountain peaks. At the end of this trail, there was a magnificent waterfall.

Our final stop was at a lake to play with rocks. One of our favorite things at many stops all over the country. The water is cold but the kids still had to test it out.

Our trip to glacier was cut a little shorter than we would have liked. Our dually truck was too wide and too long to continue on the Going-to-the-Sun road. Although we were disappointed we quickly added Glacier to our must visit again park.
